2016 Here I Come!

I am guessing I'm not the only one who just loves a New Year?
Don't get me wrong 2015 was a year I will never forget for a number of reasons, the obvious being the launch of "Fashion Aid".

For the past few years one of my stocking fillers has been a planner and anyone who knows me well will tell you it goes EVERYWHERE with me!
I fill the last couple of pages with a number of ideas, plans and finally "My New Years Resolutions" for the coming year.

Some of my resolutions are more private than others but I have decided to share a select few with you guys.
If you haven't already take out your planner or if you don't have one just a plain piece of paper and write down what you want to achieve in 2016.

My 2016 Resolutions Are......

1. Travel

As many of you guys may already know from my social media accounts my mum moved to Paris over two years ago for work and as a result I am fortunate enough to travel there on a regular basis.
Travel really is my all time favourite thing to do but as I am a student as well as a blogger travel means you need plenty of $$$$$$.

This year I already have a few plans to travel but I am super excited to get planning some more ( yes I am an addict).
Inter Railing is something on my bucket list I hope to tick off during the summer months.
The idea of travelling to a number of different locations in a short space of time sounds way too exciting for me not to experience.

2. Blog Blog Blog

When I decided to launch fashionaid.ie to the public I knew it would take me some to get it out there.
I really couldn't have asked for a better response if I tried.
Within a shocking 24 hours the "Fashion Aid" Facebook page received over 1,000 likes!!!
To say blogging is my priority for 2016 would be an understatement.
I will be focusing on lots more outfit posts which I am so excited to get working on.

3. Focus on what is Important

Focusing on what is important has a few different meanings, for me anyway.
Lifting my head from my phone and looking around me for example.
Now that blogging is what I do when I'm not in college I find myself constantly on social media which is good when I have something to post or check but sometimes I find myself on my phone for no reason.

Another aspect of this is caring less what others think and focusing on positive

appose to the negative.
I receive so many messages from girls who want to set up blogs, YouTube accounts etc. but are too scared what their friends or people in their area will think.
I have to admit putting myself out there launching my blog on social media was one scary thing to do but now that I have finally done it I can honestly say it is one of the best things I have ever done!

I am lucky enough to have received nothing but positive feedback since the launch but that fear of what others thought really did terrify me and still does.

I am way too excited for what 2016 has to come for fashionaid.ie and me personally.
I cant wait to share it all with you guys.

Here is to an amazing 2016!

Éadaoin xoxo

  1. Besides having their all economic instruments and facts for future predictions, they seem helpless to make a good plan for coming crises. Queen of England asked the same question to the economist.
